Solstice Party at Tuckers Grove

On Saturday June 15 our regular meeting was pre-empted for the Solstice Picnic at Tuckers Grove. A good time was had by all with plenty of tri-tips, chicken and all the trimmings, and a variety of activities to keep us amused.

The perennial "Duck-Off" was a shadow of its former self as there was no water available to float the ducks. In fact they were sitting ducks, but even then few managed to ring them.

A board game cleverly constructed by Anne and others kept the competitive spirit alive, with the dinosaur tokens easily outpacing their modern competitors. (is there a message there?)

Here are some photos of happy humanists at the picnic taken by our photographer Ethel Trione.
